ANCH1240 – The Rise of Ancient Greece: Greek History to the 4th Century BC 67.0

I took this course as an elective and didn't quite know what to expect. The content was very dense and hard to keep up with however two of the lecturers Luca and David made them bearable with humour. The major assignment was a research assignment on a tutorial topic and a tutorial presentation was also required. My tutor put that week's people on the spot for the whole tutorial to present and answer questions but as far as I'm aware no other tutor did this. I managed to pass the final exam despite missing a very large part of the course content and major hints were dropped on what the essay questions would be.

Very interesting course that provides a good introduction to Ancient Greek history. The tutorials in this subject provided some fun topics for students to research. The tutors provided good support if ever in need of it.
