This course was very interesting and somewhat essential to those wanting to practice in the private law. It ties in all private law causes of actions with their remedies. The content is, therefore, not unfamiliar, and explained clearly. The old lecturer, Jensen, has moved on from UQ, so it will be interesting to see how the course is run now. Jensen had us participate in compulsory workshops, to complete a compulsory, yet unweighted, piece of assessment. This was the low point of the course. I opted for a 100% exam out of laziness, but I do not think that is an option any longer. We had guest lectures from Mrs Fairweather, who was also a tutor. She is a very good tutor, and a fair lecturer.
