MGTS2603 – Leading & Managing People 47.0

The course content is quite repetitive and repeats the same theories and content from previous courses like MGTS1301, MGTS2604 and MGTS2604. So it makes for less content you have to focus on. Lecturer is very enthusiastic and passionate about the course, however the lectures aren't entirely worth going to. A few lectures featured guest speakers eg leaders from big companies (isn't assessable though). The assignment is quite different but enjoyable as you have to interview a leader (which can't be a relative) and compare your interview answers with theory you've learnt. Majority of people did okay in this, so you need to make sure you pick a good leader who gives you detailed answers so you can utilise those answers accurately and relate back to theory. Mid sem exam, lots of people did really well in MCQs however they marked harshly on short answer. Tutorials are not worth going to, like at all. I had issues getting questions responded to by the lecturer and barely posted on blackboard.
