MSTU3001 – Contemporary Korean Film and TV Drama Review 85.0

This course is great; it's engaging, interesting and fairly easy. The course delivers wonderful cultural and historical insights, with a focus on textual analysis and socio-political issues. The lecturer isn't the most knowledgeable or effective teacher at UQ, but the course and content is great.

MSTU3001 – Contemporary Korean Film and TV Drama Review 81.7

This course is great as a stand alone course or as a complement to Korean Popular Culture, LTCS2023. This course gives a wonderful insight into Korean culture through film. The films watched are quite varied and focus on different aspects and areas of Korean life. The assessment is fair with three film reviews which are easy to complete if you have watched the films and paid attention in the lecture. The only negative is that grades for the reviews are released very slowly, so expect a few weeks between handing them in and getting a result.
