NUTR3000 – Nutrition & Exercise 87.3

Took NUTR3000 as an elective in second year. The course was well structured, which made it easy to follow and revise for. Lectures almost never ran for the entire 3 hours allocated to it on the timetable.
Assessments were two multiple choice exams, both 50% each. Content tested on the first not be tested on the second - makes for easy revision. Exam questions were heavily based on lecture content and some things from the textbook, and will make for an easy 7 provided you know all the details.
Slides were put up on BB early, and the studies referred to in the lectures were made available on BB as well. Content was also well organised into separate folders. Grades for the first exam were out about two days after the exam - very fast.
Dr David Jenkins taught very clearly, made the content interesting and easy to remember, and added humour to his lectures.
