OCTY4207 – Occupational Therapy Interventions at Global, Community, Societal & Systems Levels 49.9

The course is relatively new and a lot of the assessments we had were either new or recently established. Due to this, the course was difficult to follow and at times the lecturer and tutor had conflicting responses to assessments. This did not help our learning.
The contact time for this course was 2 hour lectures and 1.5 hour tutorials which were on consecutive- we were allocated in our tutorials. The tutorials did not help a lot to consolidate the information, although, I did enjoy that they were interactive. I find that this was also dependent on who your tutor was. I found that some readings were helpful, but quite long so by the time I finished reading them I was unsure of the purpose of each one. It is best to complete the readings before the lecture.
Overall, I think there is a lot of room for improvement for this course.
