This is a really good course, loads of information very well presented. Lots of readings and information posted to Blackboard. The structure of the course is a 2 hour lecture with a series of online tutorials to build on the lecture content rather than have to go to poorly attended tutorials. It is surprising how few students actually attend the lectures.
Dr Warren has a wealth of knowledge that he could pass on to students, though I think that the course needs to be restructured around his particular lecturing style. I think this course would benefit from having either POD notes constructed by Dr Warren or a textbook. The lecture slides aren't enough on their own and Dr Warren didn't provide enough examples on our to apply the methods he was teaching us. The course was organised for a 3 hour contact once a week but Dr Warren only ever used 2 hours of it. This course would GREATLY benefit from having an actual tutorial in which we could go through the content, and apply it to the situations we are required to, the online quizzes are not enough. I also feel that FINM2400/2401 and ACCT1101 should be a prerequisite for this course
