RELN1000 – World Religions 85.1

The course wasn't too difficult, particularly if you had done religion in high school. That didn't make it any less interesting though. Overall, this course is a wonderful introduction to religion that has made me wish to study it further in my degree.

RELN1000 – World Religions 92.5

I've previously done similar studies at both Newcastle University, New South Wales, and a the University of New England, so I can actually compare the course to others. The UQ offering compares exceptionally favourably.

The lecturer, Dr, Sylvie Shaw, is one of the most engaging lecturers I have had the pleasure of studying with. I was fortunate to also be in her tutorial group. It was a real pleasure, discussions were excellent.

One of the best aspects of the course was that it had a very large element of practical, not just theory. It is specifically in this area that the UQ offering far surpasses the offerings from other institutions.

All in all, a great course, great lecturer. Highly recommended for anyone.
