SOSC2288 – Community Development: Local and International Practices 84.0

The course is extremely engaging and practical. If you hate sitting for ages getting information regurgitated at you then this course is for you. It adopts participatory learning as a key principle

Positives
  • Particiapotory Learning
  • Fun group work assessment
Negatives
  • the class goes for 4 hours
  • There are no tutors, just Lynda. Assignment feedback can be a bit slow
  • Without a Community Development history, this could be a struggle for people from other faculties and paradigms
