TOUR1000 – Principles of Tourism, Hospitality & Events 18.7

Took SEM1 2017

Kelly had very limited information on her slides and rambled on with her own life stories. Exam will ask you questions she said not to study (fun) easy enough to pass, make sure you have a strong essay. Very generalised assessment, tutorials are pointless unless presenting.
The lecturer has very limited contact times (2 hours before lecture that's it!) not a lot of information is on the slides so you have to attend/listen and if you choose to listen she has conversations with audience (often crucial information) in which you can't hear/she does not repeat.

Very easy content, it isn't a difficult course just frustrating lecturer/structure

I thought this course was an easy introductory course into university. I liked how the lecture slides were easy and simple dot points. However, Rosie Adsett the lecturer, did seem to ramble on a bit. Although she was very nice and approachable.
