Ann is a great lecturer - engaging, funny, and always willing to help. If you cannot attend consults she will go out of her way to find a time that suits you. Overall, she made the subject WAY better. I really appreciated how much help she gave me.
Just a note however, what is expected of you in assignments in this subject can be quite unclear and the expectations are high SO GO ASK! Even if you think you know what to do, just check!
Ann was one of the best lecturers I have had throughout all my years of university. While the course at first seems daunting, and very content heavy, Ann is great at explaining and guiding students along in all assessment. The course structure was excellent, you were given instructions on how to go about the assignments, the tutorials were really helpful. She is also one of the very few lecturers who are easily approachable, a fountain of information, and goes out of her way to help students. One big thing is that she uses Facebook creating a study group for the cohort, where she answers queries asap. She is very clear at communicating with students, and had great organisation. At the beginning, I was very apprehensive about the course, as I heard that it was quite tough, but Ann's guidance and your study should mean that you could get an easy 7. If I could do the course again, I would, she was the great!
Ann is an awesome lecturer. I was apprehensive prior to commencing RBUS2900 as I had heard it wasn't the easiest course. However, Ann made sure that all of the students were provided with clear guidelines and told us what would be expected from us. She talked us through expectations for each and every section of the research proposal and even *inadvertently* dropped some VERY helpful exam hints during a few of the later lectures. She was knowledgeable, organised and very charismatic and approachable. She made sure that there were no strings attached, which means that it was not impossible to achieve a 7 if you studied hard.
