Liz really brought the course I took (ADVT2511) to life. Her passion for the subject was clear, and she inspired me and others I knew to take a new perspective on the role and impact of advertising. Her lectures are varied, with a good mix of styles including the use of class discussion, group activities and videos, which really help to keep you engaged.
I really enjoyed taking Liz's course, and would highly recommend!
Liz is probably one of the most amazing lecturers that I came across during my four years at UQ. She has been extremely supportive and provided me with advice beyond the usual job description of a lecturer. It is very rare to have a lecturer that establishes a personal rapport with his/her student and ensure that students are equipped with an understanding of vocational skills development on top of their academic curriculum.
Liz is one of the best lecturers I know. I feel sad to see others tear her down for no reason. She's one of the most approachable and lecturer I know. With a sense of humour and extensive knowledge of Culture and Media, all you have to do is ask the right questions. Thanks Liz, for being an awesome lecturer. :D
One of the worst lecturers at UQ in the business school. She is consistently shaky in terms of her presentation and confidence and do not clearly put across the lecture content or assessment. Poorly organised and arranged; for an advertising lecturer, you would expect the powerpoint slides to be creative or at least going beyond the basic layouts. Very disappointing
