IBUS2302 – Globalisation & Business 80.7

Although the lecturer was quite monotone and boring at times, I enjoyed this course. The lecturer knew what he was talking about and backed up his statements with evidence and videos which made it more engaging. I did really well on my written assignment, although majority of the time I was wondering if I was doing it right as well as other people I had talked to. The tutes were good and insightful, it really helped me keep on top of the lecture content in preperation for the exam.

IBUS2302 – Globalisation & Business 79.3

IBUS2302 is a great subject overall though there is little supporting learning materials outside of lectures and tutorials. The course reader is not necessary at all imo. I'm currently doing a POLS course this semester (POLS2221) as an elective and going off that I believe that IBUS2302 would complement students well that are doing IS or Business or have strong interests in geo-politics and business. The course content is VERY interesting for students with those interests like myself which helps with the learning process.

Although I did really well for the written assignment I was questioning what I was writing about due to unclear instructions for the assignment and vague and general topic. Teaching staff gave differing advice which added to the confusion. Overall though the assessment is fairly weighted and difficulty is just right imo.

Tutorials are fun and interactive and reinforce lecture content though new information is not learned at tutorials.

The lecturer is quite good although can get a little boring and has a somewhat obvious bias with his geo-political views (e.g. anti-Russia).
