NUTR1023 – Health & Fitness Through Diet & Exercise 52.3

I did this course online in semester 1, 2020.

Overall, the course content is relatively easy. Weekly quizzes and workshop assignments are also very doable. However, marking can be quite biased. I have never experienced such unfair marking in the 3 years I have been in university. When receiving a mark, the feedback was extremely vague. After emailing the coordinator with proof (highlighted, circled physical proof) of the things I have been said I lacked in assignments, I got a vague response every time. This was also reflected in the 30% final assignment. I got a significantly lower score as compared to my peers. After reviewing the assignment with my peers, I found that my feedback was vague and a lot of the comments did not make sense as I explicitly justified a lot of the things in my assignment. This was all done despite the fact that the assignment content quality of me and my peers did not differ as significantly as our marks did. It almost seemed as if the assignment was not read properly. Overall, I have experienced a biased attitude and carelessness when asked for more feedback.

NUTR1023 – Health & Fitness Through Diet & Exercise 79.0

Overall good course
Nice prof although you can't meet him due to online lecture only
But a few tutors aren't approachable. They might be boring you on tutorials.
I love that course guide that need be to filled by each student while people are studying each module. That makes me feel like I learn so much new things. This course requires some memory work, which is reasonable and straightforward, so are the assignments. So many students can get really good marks on this course.

NUTR1023 – Health & Fitness Through Diet & Exercise 61.1

Very interesting course for someone who has never done science or nutrition. Doesn't require any background knowledge and it is very reasonable for a first year course. Assignments aren't too difficult.

NUTR1023 – Health & Fitness Through Diet & Exercise 90.5

I took this course as an elective over the summer semester and it was great. It is all offered externally so there are no contact hours. The assessments are reasonable - there is a weekly quiz (one downfall of this is that with it being external you may forget it and miss a quiz) and the writing assignments and final exam are very straightforward. There isn't really a need for the textbook - the course doesn't have much content but everything is presented thoroughly via videos and presentations on blackboard.
