PSYC2311 – Developmental Disorders of Childhood90.4
I took the course in semester 2, 2021. The quizzes were easy enough to manage though at the first four weeks the readings may seem challenging but it is exciting and interesting at the same time. If you have studied psychopathology the case report will be easier. The course can be better if self-care workshops are included. It prevented me from having an episode recently (for real, I miraculously had better sleep hygiene after listening to the lectures haha not because it's difficult, but because it was easier to put the interventions into practice!) If you have a mental disorder, or you are simply interested in the DSM you should try it. Free tutorial marks for completing worksheets and engagement.

PSYC2311 – Developmental Disorders of Childhood83.6
I have almost finished my fourth semester at uni, and this was the best course I have ever undertaken. It is all about the development, diagnosis and treatment about disorders in developmental child psychology (which I find extremely interesting to study), and is extremely clinically oriented. The two lecturers were obviously both very experienced, and added their own anecdotes to the lectures to make the subject more interesting and realistic. The same can be said for the tutors, who are extremely lovely and willing to give you lots of feedback. The only negative was that the lecture and tutorial times are very limited - there is one two hour lecture a week, and the available two hour tutorial times were either immediately preceding/following the lecture, giving you one four hour block of the subject per week.
