If you are passionate about archaeology, then this is a great beginners course for you. Personally, I found that lectures were boring (not because of content, but because of the duration - 2h !) and tutorials were quite rushed. During the first tutorials, I expected a nice and slow run-through of the course and explanations of some archaeology terms etc, since it is supposed to be a 'beginners' class that is open to people with no prior experience/knowledge in archaeology. But it was just too heavy in content for me to really have time to understand and apply it properly during exams. It is true that the exams are easier than other courses, some of the exams test simple things like how to reference properly, for the other exams that test content, you have to make sure that you are up to date with lecture notes, readings, and understand and remember *everything* from tutorials.
I didn't enjoy it, but maybe that's because I don't have a passion for archaeology. If you do, you should try this course out!
Good luck !
Easiest course ever. Some of it was interesting, a lot of the content was a bit dry. Eos exam was almost pathetic it was that simple. We were given 100mcqs 3 weeks prior and told that 60 of them would be the exact exam qs. Id recommend it for a GPA booster (worked wonders for my GPA)
