BIOL2204 – Zoology 77.1

This course requires a lot of memorising, reviewing and studying. However, the course content is not difficult and most of the lectures are nice and straight forward. This is also a very interesting course if you are interested in animals and their physiology. It is highly detailed and will feel very overwhelming at times with the amount of information presented in a short time. You will need to keep on top of it and be sure to continually review material throughout the semester to keep it fresh.

Practicals are interesting with many hands on activities to reinforce lectures. The way practicals and lectures tie in together is a big plus for this course. The only downside for the practicals was a video assignment which just seemed at odds with the rest of the course. All other assessment were exams and end of practical quizzes (do well in these for a nice boost to your final mark!).

Overall, highly recommended but do not take it lightly. Not a difficult course, but VERY content heavy.
