BIOM2013 – Integrative Cell & Tissue Biology for BBiomedSc 74.6

I failed this course in second year and ended up with a 6 when I redid it in third year. The course isn't necessarily well structured, the lectures deviate from the slides heavily particularly in the Epithelial and Cardiac Muscle modules. The other modules are much more interesting and easy to follow.
The immunology module wasn't necessarily taught very well in this course; BIOL3003 is coordinated by Graham, and it provides a much more in depth and exciting insight into immuno so don't let BIOM2013 turn you off this area of study.
The practical used to be absolutely awful, but in 2016 they were changed so that they are exactly the same as BIOM2011.
BIOM2013 provides a good base for subjects which are more in depth later in 2nd and into 3rd year.
