HIST1400 – The Medieval and Early Modern World 64.6

This was a really interesting course. However, it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be like. The lecture content was heavily centred on the readings from the books, both of which were:
1. Boring
and
2. Fictional
It felt a lot like a literature course, but you didn't even need to read the books to pass with a good grade. Just completed the weekly lecture note submissions, tests, and major essay, and you'll be golden.
Basically, it was a lot more work than was necessary, and it was a bit all over the place.

HIST1400 – The Medieval and Early Modern World 63.6

Well with the title 'The Medieval and Early Modern World' you might expect an overview of what happened over the many centuries, however it is actually about the Black Death within the time span of two centuries. Hence it is not really an introduction to the medieval and early modern times.

HIST1400 – The Medieval and Early Modern World 85.0

A very interesting course with a wide range of topics for students to investigate. I was pleased with the amount of topics on offer in the tutorials. The lectures were interesting and they were recorded, which is always a bonus. The course textbook was also very interesting and as a whole this course provides a solid and interesting introduction to Europe in the Middle Ages.
