Having done both of Alastair's courses, I can say that it's been some of the most fun I've had. Alastair has a very practical approach in both subjects which makes the courses a lot more interesting than the other theory based subjects. His teaching style is engaging and he is generally a very cheerful character which only drives me to go above and beyond when doing the assessments. In conclusion, you can expect any course with Alastair to be engaging, fun, and benefitial for future business endevours.
Alastair is very personable and approachable, however sometimes he doesn't know when to stop talking. He has a lot of great knowledge to impart to his students, however his teaching style may inhibit this wisdom. He often tries to get help from the audience, however his requests often fall short and no one ever speaks up (or it is the same one or two people every time).
He did not post feedback about the assignments which was less than desirable... Even when I asked for feedback about one of the assignments, I didn't get a reply.
Overall a nice guy and gives you a lot of information that is extremely useful (which might be more suited for a course review rather than a lecturer review).
Which course did you take? (e.g. MGTS1301)
Clarity is very high by force (keeps explaining even when you get it)
