He is a very good lecturer who organised ENGG1300 very well. He often gives examples of different electrical systems in multiple disciplinaries of engineering. He also has a very dry sense of humour as well, which makes the lectures worth watching on zoom/going to.
Phil is great at explaining things. You sort of blindly move through the first 2 years of Elec Eng without much sense of purpose then all of a sudden things start making sense and I believe Dr Terrill has a hand in this. The course he teaches (3400) is difficult but attending the lectures and listening to him explain things in real terms is extremely beneficial. Phil was also one of the academic advisers when I did the course so he also gave perspective on where to take your studies further.
